Eburu Forest is a prime indigenous forest that overlooks Lake Naivasha to the south, Lake Elementaita to the North, and Lake Nakuru to the North West. The forest is nestled within the folds of a geologically active volcanic mountain, whose highest peak, Ol Doinyo Eburu, which stands 2,820m asl.
Elephant Hill is a rewarding challenge for moderate hikers and a great prep hike for Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro. With steep trails, lush bamboo forests, and stunning summit views, it’s the perfect way to build strength and confidence for higher altitudes.
Twelve Apostles is a challenging 33 km high-altitude hike considered as one of the toughest in the Aberdare Range. It is perfect for seasoned hikers or those preparing for Mount Kenya or Kilimanjaro dashes. With a 2,200m elevation gain over 12 hours, it’s not beginner-friendly and requires prior hiking experience.
