Twelve Apostles is a challenging 33 km high-altitude hike considered as one of the toughest in the Aberdare Range. With a 2,200m elevation gain over 12 hours, it’s not beginner-friendly and requires prior hiking experience.
The Cha Muhimu Traverse is a 90KM hike across the Aberdare Range, moving from north to south. The journey begins at Twin Rocks and ends at Njabini Gate, taking you over some of the range’s most iconic peaks: Mount Satima, Table Mountain, Rurimeria Hill, Mount Kinangop, and Elephant Hill. Mt Kipipiri in the Aberdares is a striking and scenic hiking destination located within the Aberdare Ranges in central Kenya.
