It stands at approximately 3\,760m asl. above sea level and is famously known for its beautiful ponds. This is an ideal hike for anyone training for Mount Kenya\, Mount Kilimanjaro\, or looking to ease into high-altitude hiking. At nearly 3\,800 meters\, it gives your body a taste of thinner air\, tougher terrain\, and mental grit\, all in a day’s effort. \nDifficulty Level : Challenging (perfect for high altitude training) \nTrail Distance:10.5kms. \nElevation gain: 1\,050m \nDuration of Hike: 7-8 hours \nHow to dress for this hike:\n– Beanie/Warm Headgear\,Thermal top\, Warm Jacket\, Hiking Pants\, Hiking Bag.\n– Comfortable waterproof hiking shoes with a good grip.
