It reaches an elevation of 3\,860 meters above sea level\, making it higher than Elephant hill\, and only 200 feet shorter than the famous Mt Kinangop. This trail is a very scenic hiking destination in Kenya and very ideal for anyone looking for the perfect physical + mental challenge\, preparing for Mt Kenya/Kilimanjaro\, and already into high altitude climbing. \nDifficulty Level : Challenging (perfect for high altitude training and not a beginner friendly hike) \nTrail Distance:15.5 kms. \nElevation gain: 1\,150m \nDuration of Hike: 7-8 hours \nHow to dress for this hike:\n– Beanie/Warm Headgear\,Thermal top\, Warm Jacket\, Hiking Pants\, Hiking Bag.\n– Comfortable waterproof hiking shoes with a good grip.
