About the Trail:
The Ol Donyo Orok mountain (in maasai language), also called Namanga Hills, is situated in southern Kenya next to the Tanzanian border in the Namanga Division. It soars to an elevation of 2548m above sea level and is very scenic. The mountain side provides a rewarding outdoor experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
Attractions:
* Clear Mountain River Water
* Boulders sculptured by centuries of water erosion
* Caves.
* Views of both Tanzania and Kenya from the summit view top
Difficulty Level : Moderate. Trail Distance: 11 kms. Duration of Hike: 5-6 hours
How to dress for this hike:
– Tights/cargo pants or comfortable and fast dry hiking clothes
– Warm jacket.
– Comfortable hiking shoes, preferably hiking boots or gym/sports shoes with good sole grip.
– Hat/cap for sun protection
What to carry:-
– Water (3 liters)
– Snacks/energy bars/your preferred trail food.
– Rain gear/Poncho
– Small hiking bag to carry luggage (25L-30L recommended)
– Sunscreen (optional)
– Face mask.

Meeting Time at International House: 5.10am bus leaves at exactly 5.15am. (We are very strict on time) (T&C apply)
Estimated Finish Time: 3.00pm and back in Nairobi by 7:30pm

Cancellation Policy:
– Cancellations made more than two (2) days prior to the trip are eligible for a refund minus the booking fee.
– Cancellations made within two (2) days of the trip will incur a 70% charge of the total amount payable.
– Cancellations made one (1) day prior, on the trip date, or failure to attend will result in no refund.
