About the Trail:
Table Mountain in the Aberdares is a striking and scenic hiking destination located within the Aberdare Ranges in central Kenya. It stands at approximately 3,791 meters (12,440 feet) above sea level and is known for its dramatic flat-topped summit hence the name “Table Mountain”. This is an ideal hike for anyone training for Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro, or looking to ease into high-altitude hiking. At nearly 3,800 meters, it gives your body a taste of thinner air, tougher terrain, and mental grit, all in a day’s effort.

How to dress for this hike:
– Beanie/Warm Headgear,Thermal top, Warm Jacket, Hiking Pants, Hiking Bag.
– Comfortable waterproof hiking shoes with a good grip. (Tip: always wear a size bigger or half bigger than your normal shoe size)
-Hat/cap/ sunglasses for sun protection (optional)
-Essential Extras: Gaiters, Trekking Pole, Light Gloves, Head torch.
What to carry:
– Water (2 or 3 liters)
– Snacks/energy bars/your preferred trail food.
– Rain gear/Poncho/Rain Jacket (must-have)
– Small hiking bag to carry luggage (30L recommended)
– Sunscreen (optional)
– Face mask.
– Camera (optional)

Cancellation Policy:
– Cancellations made more than two (2) days prior to the trip are eligible for a refund minus the booking fee.
– Cancellations made within two (2) days of the trip will incur a 70% charge of the total amount payable.
– Cancellations made one (1) day prior, on the trip date, or failure to attend will result in no refund.
